Didn't this card turn out pretty? I used the Christmas paper from the Mini Catalog that is now expired. The stamp is a level 1 Hostess set, "Holiday Best". That little stamp set has served me well this year!! Happy Valentine's Day!!

Valentine's Day is Sunday!!
Do you have your cards made yet? I was really sad when my daughter stopped handing out Valentines. It was my favorite thing to make with her. Now, I am just making one for her and my husband. Maybe I will adopt a busy mom who has a youngster and make them for her kids! LOL!

Classy Valentine

I made this Valentine and 4 others just like it for Taylor's math tutor who will be giving them away with a donation for several causes. I can't remember if it was for the Rotary Club or another club, but I was happy to do it. I need to make 5 more of a different style. I like having a project like this. I used Bravo Burgundy, Gold and Basic Black card stock. Gold Encore pad with the "Always" and retired "Wonderful Words" stamp sets. Gold embroidery thread was circled around the heart. I actually think the card is prettier in person. I think I need to retake the picture with a white background. I just don't have the time to do it again... After tennis season! I am sorry to all of you that I have had to cancel stamp camp. I never guessed that this month would get so crazy for me. Hope you are stamping at home and will be ready for February's Stamp Camp!!

More Love You Much!

It is going to be a busy week, so I decided to do two posts today. Does the layout of the first card look familiar?? Click here to see what I am talking about. Scroll down to the third card. If you see a layout that you like, you can use it with anything! I really like the Bella Rose paper and I think it is perfect for Valentine cards. I will pick one of these two layouts to make at stamp camp!! Oh, we will have fun! It is going to get very cold here this week. It will be great to bundle up in a cozy sweatshirt and stamp...after cleaning the whole house and getting all the laundry done, of course! ;) Ha Ha!
Valentine Goodie Box
This is about one of the easiest boxes that I have ever made! Can you believe that this box is made out of this little hand-dandy envelope from our Sizzix die cuts. Click here to see what envelope I am talking about. Click here to view the die itself. The stamp set is from the "Love You Much" Valentine Bundle. I used my blender pen with Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red and Pink Pirouette stamp pads. The stamp perfectly fits the scallop circle, so it was so very easy to make this box look cute! We will be making this cute box or one similar to it at this month's stamp camp. From what I understand, we are getting some great new dies for the Big Shot in this new catalog. I just got word that my catalogs shipped. I will be anxiously waiting for my favorite man in that big brown truck! I am looking forward to seeing you all on the 21st! Until then, happy stamping!!

Cathy's Tin and Candy Box
Thank you, Cathy! This is the tin that Cathy made. I love it! She used pre-cut Mulberry hearts and applied
them with modge podge. The words "all my love" are stamped in the middle.
them with modge podge. The words "all my love" are stamped in the middle. Cathy's candy box is also cute! I love the colors she picked. She used a sheet of patterned paper from the new "Spring Break" packet on page 168 of S.U.'s catalog and "Not quite Navy" for the base! LOVE
IT! Imagine using that for a birthday gift card or to fill it with some cool soap! Thanks for sharing, my friend!

Alison's Valentine

Remember when I challenged my stamp camp friends to decorate the tin I gave them for Christmas? Alison and Cathy came with some beautiful tins! Cathy will be sending me a picture of hers...
(right, Cathy!!) I will post it as soon as I get it.
(right, Cathy!!) I will post it as soon as I get it.Look how beautiful Alison's turned out! We wouldn't expect anything less from Alison, being that her scrapbooks are absolutely amazing! She also sells Creative Memories. Here is her site... http://www.mycmsite.com/sites/alisonnadeau
Thank you for sharing, Alison! Steve will love it!
Candy Box

Don't do what I just did! I got this pattern from someone's blog and now I can't find it to give them credit! UGG! I will keep searching and post it as soon as I find it. The name on the pattern was not where I found it, so, the search is on!
I really should have taken pictures of everyone's candy box before they left, because they picked out their own patterned paper and cardstock...so each box was unique! I loved it...(girls, send pics and I will post them!!)
Here I used: Whisper White card stock and Rose Red Designer Series Paper; Scalloped and circle punches and velcro dots.
It is so much easier than it looks!!
Alison's Valentine Tin

This is the tin that Alison made at stamp camp. Didn't it turn out cute?!!! :) My sample tin was rushed and did not turn out so great. Thank you Alison, for sending me the pictures!
Once again, the tins are from Michael's. Here is what we used....
Card Stock: Real Red and Regal Rose
Ribbon: Regal Rose Grosgrain Ribbon from the "Valentine's Day Bundle"
Patterned Paper: Cerise (still available from Fall catalog pg. 172)
Punches: Marvy Giant Punches

Not So Typical Valentine
I absolutely love the "Just B" stamp set from Stampin' Up! on page 140 of the new catalog. The possibilities are endless!!! Here my stamp campers made a Valentine with no
traditional valentine colors. This, however, would look just as cute using reds, pinks, etc!
Stamp Set: Just B
Card Stock: Almost Amethyst (looks more blue here, though), So Saffron, Certainly Celery, and
Whisper White
Patterned Paper: Uptown (can still order from Fall/Winter catalog 109158)
Ribbon: Certainly Celery
Embellishment: from Hodgepodge Hardware - Antique Brass
Ticket Corner Punch
